We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to produce high-impact, engaging video content. In this remote contractual role, you will edit raw footage into polished, dynamic assets optimized across YouTube, social media platforms, and digital marketing channels. The ideal candidate pairs strong pacing and narrative instincts with technical precision in motion graphics, color correction, and audio enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-retention short-form (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) and long-form video formats.
- Create seamless transitions, kinetic typography, lower thirds, and lightweight motion graphics to boost viewer retention.
- Perform audio cleanup, voice leveling, sound design, and appropriate background score selection.
- Apply basic to intermediate color correction and grading to maintain consistent visual aesthetic across deliverables.
- Re-purpose core content into multiple platform-specific aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Organize project assets, manage revisions efficiently, and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with the content and creative leads to brainstorm formats, hooks, and thumbnail concepts.
Candidate Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–3 years of professional video editing experience (agency, freelance, or in-house).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with working familiarity in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Portfolio/Showreel: A proven portfolio demonstrating strong narrative pacing, clean sound design, and modern social media editing trends.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of codecs, rendering formats, frame rates, and platform-specific export settings.
- Work Ethic: Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written English communication for seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
