Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planning Executive / Production Planner to join our production team at Kakkanad. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment and possess excellent coordination, analytical, and scheduling skills to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and production capacity.
- Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure timely execution of manufacturing activities.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and quality teams for smooth operational flow.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and monitor material requirements planning (MRP).
- Track production progress and update planning schedules accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize shortages, delays, and excess stock.
- Prepare MIS reports, production reports, and maintain accurate planning records.
- Analyze production data to improve efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices within the production process.
- Ensure delivery timelines are achieved as per customer requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Production Planning within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirement planning (MRP).
- Good understanding of inventory control and raw material management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production-related reporting tools.
- Ability to analyze production data and generate MIS reports.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and process improvement practices will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or any Engineering discipline.

- Candidates residing in or around Kakkanad are preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
