Job Summary
The Telecaller is responsible for generating admissions by handling inbound and outbound calls, following up with prospective students, scheduling counselling appointments, and maintaining accurate lead records. The role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a customer-focused approach to help students choose the right career program.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Management
- Make outbound calls to fresh and existing leads.
- Attend inbound admission enquiries professionally.
- Explain course details, career opportunities, fees, scholarships, and placement support.
- Qualify leads and identify genuine admission prospects.
- Maintain complete and updated lead records in the CRM.
Follow-up & Counselling Coordination
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
- Schedule counselling appointments for the Admission Counselor or Centre Manager.
- Ensure maximum student walk-ins through effective follow-ups.
- Send WhatsApp messages, brochures, and course information after discussions.
Admission Support
- Assist students in completing the admission process.
- Coordinate documentation required for admissions.
- Follow up on pending fee payments and documentation.
- Support admission campaigns, webinars, seminars, and promotional activities.
Daily Reporting
- Submit daily call reports.
- Update lead status after every interaction.
- Maintain daily productivity reports.
- Report market feedback and student concerns to the Centre Manager.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily outbound calls completed.
- Daily meaningful conversations.
- Walk-ins scheduled.
- Walk-ins attended.
- Counselling conversions.
- Admissions generated.
- Follow-up completion percentage.
- CRM update accuracy.
- Student response time.
- Fee collection follow-ups completed.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, Email, CRM).
- Ability to work under targets.
- Good listening and objection-handling skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
Qualification
- Minimum HSC (12th Pass); Graduate preferred.
- Experience in telecalling, customer service, education, or sales will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3 years in Telecalling, Admissions, Customer Service, Sales, or Education Counselling.
Working Hours
- As per institute working hours.
- Flexibility to work during admission campaigns, weekends, and events when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
