1). Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) drives sales growth and market share across North Gujarat and parts of Central Gujarat. This role focuses on primary sales through distributor management and secondary sales via active retail marketing support. Key Responsibilities Distributor Management
- Network Operations: Manage existing distributor networks to meet monthly primary sales targets.
- Inventory Control: Monitor distributor stock levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Onboarding: Identify and appoint new distributors in unrepresented territories.
- ROI Tracking: Review distributor profitability, investment capacity, and market credit extension.
- Compliance: Ensure timely payments and strict adherence to company commercial policies.
2). Retail Marketing & Secondary Sales
- Market Mapping: Map major retail counters, mechanics, and garages in the assigned territory.
- Demand Generation: Design and execute local retail marketing campaigns to boost secondary sales.
- Relationship Building: Run mechanic loyalty programs and influencer engagement meets.
- Branding Execution: Oversee the installation of shop boards, posters, and point-of-sale displays.
- Feedback Loop: Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, schemes, and product launches.
3). Territory & Team Management
- Territory Coverage: Cover North Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Palanpur) and select Central Gujarat pockets (Anand, Nadiad).
- Team Leadership: Guide and track daily activities of Sales Executives and Distributor Salesmen.
- Route Planning: Create efficient Permanent Journey Plans (PJP) for the field team.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
