Job Summary
We are looking for an Interior Sales & Design (Commercial) Executive who can manage end-to-end client handling—from lead generation and site visits to design coordination, costing, and deal closure. The role focuses on converting design requirements into profitable commercial projects while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Sales
- Handle incoming leads, walk-in clients, and referrals.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand requirements.
- Present design concepts and commercial proposals.
- Convert leads into confirmed interior projects.
- Maintain strong follow-ups to close deals.
Design Coordination
- Prepare basic space planning concepts and design inputs.
- Coordinate with designers for 2D/3D drawings and layouts.
- Suggest materials, finishes, and design solutions as per budget.
- Ensure designs align with client expectations and feasibility.
Commercial & Costing
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), quotations, and cost estimates.
- Calculate project cost including materials, labor, and execution.
- Maintain company profit margins while negotiating with clients.
- Handle rate negotiations and finalize contracts.
- Compare vendor/subcontractor quotes for cost optimization.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with execution team, site supervisors, and vendors.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to execution phase.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve site-related issues in coordination with design team.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain lead pipeline in CRM or Excel.
- Track conversion ratio, sales targets, and project status.
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Maintain client database and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation ability
- Good understanding of interior design concepts
- Knowledge of costing, BOQ, and commercial terms
- Client handling and communication skills
- Ability to convert leads into high-value projects
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SketchUp (preferred)
- Strong follow-up and relationship management
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
- Any graduate with interior sales experience can apply
- 1–5 years experience in interior sales or turnkey projects preferred
