Role Summary
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join our finance team as Accounts & Finance Manager. This is a high-impact role that offers involvement in strategic financial decisions in a fast-growing clean energy startup.
You will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Accounting Standards (AS) and the Companies Act
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage revenue recognition, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
- Support MIS and management reporting with timely insights
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Track financial performance and key metrics
- Support financial modelling for projects and profitability analysis
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance
- Handle TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory filings
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely ROC and regulatory compliances
4. Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements
- Manage receivables, payables, and vendor payments
- Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts
5. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Strengthen internal financial controls and implement SOPs
- Drive automation and process efficiency in accounting operations
- Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness
6. Investor & Board Support
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and disclosures for Board meetings
- Support investor updates and fundraising requirements
- Maintain shareholding records and related compliances
Eligibility Criteria:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting and compliance
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Ind AS / IFRS
- Experience working with Zoho ERP (or similar)
- Background in manufacturing, energy, or startup environment

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
