Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing B2B sales operations, developing new clients, handling existing relationships, and supporting product-related decisions. The role includes lead generation, field visits, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring smooth sales execution.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Generate new leads through market visits and field activities when required.
- Identify potential B2B clients and convert them into regular buyers.
- Expand customer base in assigned industrial clusters and trading hubs.
Field Sales
- Conduct field visits to meet clients, understand their requirements, and share product details.
- Maintain strong relationships with B2B customers through regular follow-ups and on-ground interactions.
Client Relationship Management
- Handle inquiries, share quotations, and negotiate deals with clients.
- Maintain communication with existing clients for repeat orders.
- Provide updates on pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines.
Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams for timely dispatch and order fulfilment.
- Ensure timely payment collection following company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation: visit reports, order sheets, sales MIS, and market feedback.
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market movements.
- Provide weekly market intelligence and customer insights to management.
- Identify emerging opportunities and new business segments.
Product Responsibilities
- Provide input for product quality, packaging, and market positioning based on customer feedback.
- Share field insights to help improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in product planning and development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduation in Commerce/Business/Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales (chemicals, polymers, raw materials, industrial products preferred).
- Experience in Chemicals, Oil & Gas Industry is mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and field sales skills.
- Candidate must have their own laptop.
- Good understanding of B2B customer handling and pricing structures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and WhatsApp Business.
- Willingness to travel for field visits whenever required.
