Role Overview
We are looking for motivated and passionate Cybersecurity Interns eager to develop practical cybersecurity skills. As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will work alongside experienced security professionals, assist with security assessments, perform research, analyze vulnerabilities, and contribute to client security projects while gaining real-world industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities.
- Perform reconnaissance and information gathering on target environments.
- Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities.
- Support web application, network, API, cloud, and mobile security assessments.
- Assist in preparing professional vulnerability assessment reports.
- Conduct security research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Monitor security advisories and CVEs relevant to client environments.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Maintain proper documentation of testing activities and findings.
- Collaborate with senior security consultants on ongoing projects.
- Follow security testing methodologies and industry best practices.
Daily KPIs
- Complete assigned security assessment tasks.
- Analyze and validate security findings.
- Submit daily activity updates and documentation.
- Research and summarize one recent cybersecurity vulnerability or threat.
- Participate in team discussions and technical learning sessions.
- Update project documentation before the end of the day.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of web application security concepts.
- Understanding of common cybersecurity vulnerabilities such as the OWASP Top 10.
- Interest in ethical hacking and penetration testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn independently and work collaboratively.
Preferred Knowledge
Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
- Kali Linux
- Burp Suite
- Nmap
- Wireshark
- Metasploit Framework
- OWASP ZAP
- Git/GitHub
- Python or Bash scripting
- Basic Active Directory concepts
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

- Final-year students or recent graduates.
- Candidates with cybersecurity certifications or relevant training are encouraged to apply.
