Job Summary
The Hospital Administrator is responsible for overseeing the overall administration, operations, and strategic management of Swami Devi Dyal Hospital. The role involves ensuring the efficient functioning of all departments, maintaining high standards of patient care, managing resources effectively and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise the overall operations and administration of the hospital.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and departmental heads to ensure smooth functioning of hospital activities.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational strategies in accordance with hospital objectives.
- Monitor hospital performance and recommend improvements in service quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accreditation standards, and healthcare policies.
- Supervise recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of administrative and support staff.
- Address patient grievances and implement corrective measures to enhance patient experience.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination among various departments.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper utilization of hospital infrastructure, equipment, and facilities.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and present operational updates to management.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the hospital.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure the implementation of disaster management and safety protocols.
- Represent the hospital in meetings, inspections, and interactions with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), MBA in Hospital Management, Healthcare Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in hospital administration or healthcare management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and hospital operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in hospital information systems and administrative procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
