vConstruct looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of Reinforced Concrete detailing projects, major client accounts, and project management teams.
This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing future leaders, strengthening client partnerships, and ensuring consistent delivery across multiple projects. The ideal candidate combines exceptional leadership, commercial awareness, and client management skills with a strong understanding of Reinforced Concrete detailing and VDC project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of complex Reinforced Concrete detailing projects.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to Project Manager II's, Project Managers, and Team Leaders.
- Develop project delivery strategies that align with client expectations and business objectives.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, General Contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance, financial health, resource utilization, and delivery metrics.
- Partner with Operations and Technical Leadership to optimize project execution.
- Drive operational improvements, standardization, and best practices across project teams.
- Lead project recovery efforts and resolve complex commercial or operational challenges.
- Support business development activities, strategic pursuits, and client presentations.
- Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Champion collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Represent the organization during executive client meetings and strategic reviews.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- More than 15-18 years of experience in Reinforced Concrete detailing, VDC, or BIM industry.
- Proven experience managing large project portfolios, major client accounts, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in developing project leaders and driving organizational performance.
Technical Skills
- Advanced understanding of Reinforced Concrete detailing processes.
- Strong knowledge of Tekla Structures (preferred and advantage), Rebar Cad, aSa MicroStation, Arma Cad, BIM coordination, fabrication workflows, and digital project delivery.
- Experience with project financial management, forecasting, resource planning, and operational reporting.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project execution strategies, and client delivery models.
- Knowledge of ACI, CRSI and applicable industry codes, standards, and quality systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Design Assist, Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), or prefabrication-focused projects.
- Experience managing strategic client relationships within the construction industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and business development experience.
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- PMP or equivalent leadership certification is preferred.
