Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical E-Commerce Data Analyst with experience in the garment/apparel industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and hands-on experience across major e-commerce marketplaces. The role involves analyzing sales performance, inventory, pricing, profitability, and marketplace data to support business decisions and improve overall marketplace performance.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Analytics
- Analyze sales performance across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, Nykaa Fashion, Tata CLiQ, Shopify, and other marketplaces.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Identify top-selling and slow-moving products.
- Track product-wise profitability and contribution margins.
- Prepare marketplace performance dashboards.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Create MIS reports and business dashboards.
- Analyze conversion rates, traffic, returns, cancellations, and customer behaviour.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare category-wise and SKU-wise performance reports.
- Forecast sales trends based on historical data.
Inventory & Stock Analysis
- Monitor inventory ageing and stock turnover.
- Analyze stock availability across all marketplaces.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
- Recommend replenishment quantities based on sales trends.
Pricing & Profitability
- Analyze product pricing across marketplaces.
- Evaluate competitor pricing and promotional activities.
- Calculate marketplace fees, commissions, and profitability.
- Recommend pricing strategies to improve margins.
Marketplace Performance
- Track listing quality, suppressed listings, and catalogue health.
- Analyze advertising performance and ROI.
- Measure campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Industry Experience
Mandatory
- 7-9 years of experience in the Garment/Apparel/Fashion Industry
- Experience working with women's wear, ethnic wear, western wear, or fashion brands will be preferred.
