Role:

Understand project requirements and prepare purchase orders accordingly.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers for raw materials, mechanical components, instrumentation & fabrication services.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain vendor database and monitor performance for quality and timely delivery.
- Manage purchase requisitions and orders through SAP/ERP systems.
- Track material receipt, inventory updates, and payments.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to meet material requirements.
- Monitor delivery schedules and support project milestones.
Job Profile:
-
5-10 years of experience in procurement or purchase within manufacturing/engineering or project-based environments.
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc) & MS office tools.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage timelines.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ASME,API & other relevant standards.
- Experience with international sourcing & import documentation.
