We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Architect with strong construction supervision expertise to oversee on-site architectural execution. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing architectural works during the construction phase, ensuring projects are delivered in line with approved designs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading architectural design and project planning
- Managing junior architects, draftsmen, and design teams
- Meeting with clients to understand requirements
- Reviewing and approving drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Coordinating with structural, MEP, and civil engineers
- Conducting site inspections and resolving construction issues
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Preparing presentations and proposals for clients
Required Skills:
- Advanced architectural design and detailing
- Interior design and detailing
- Landscape design and detailing
- Project management and team leadership
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software tools.
- Construction administration and site coordination
- Client communication and negotiation
- Experience in interior finishing and site coordination is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Typical Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) / Master Degree of M.Arch 3–5+ years of professional experience Registration with the relevant architectural council (where applicable) Strong portfolio of completed projects.
Knowledge of By-laws (Very Important) A Senior Architect is expected to have strong knowledge of:
- Local building by-laws and development control regulations.
- Zoning regulations and land-use rules.
- Floor Space Index (FSI/FAR) calculations.
- Setback requirements.
- Building height restrictions.
- Fire and life-safety regulations.
- Accessibility requirements.
- Parking norms.
- Environmental and sustainability regulations.
- Approval procedures with municipal authorities.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
