Position: Security Guard Organization: Cheran Group Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with relevant skills may also apply) Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass or equivalent Salary: Based on experience Job Summary Cheran Group is looking for disciplined and responsible Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our campus, employees, students, visitors, and assets. Key Responsibilities Monitor and secure the assigned premises. Check the entry and exit of employees, students, visitors, and vehicles. Maintain visitor and vehicle entry registers. Conduct regular security patrols around the campus. Prevent unauthorized access and report suspicious activities. Handle emergency situations such as fire, theft, or accidents and inform the concerned authorities. Ensure proper opening and closing of gates as per schedule. Safeguard company property and assets. Assist in maintaining discipline and order within the campus. Coordinate with the Administration and HR Department on security-related matters. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Guard is preferred. Physically fit and medically sound. Basic reading and writing skills in Tamil; knowledge of English is an added advantage. Good observation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights. Preferred Skills Knowledge of fire safety and emergency response. Experience in educational institutions, hospitals, or corporate campuses. Ability to remain calm and act promptly during emergencies. Benefits PF & ESI as per statutory norms. Uniform provided.
