Core Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure server, storage, and network infrastructure.
- System Administration & Maintenance: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software systems. Perform regular backups, system updates, and security patching.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve system failures, network issues, application-related infrastructure problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline server provisioning, system administration, monitoring, and routine operational tasks.
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance, and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Cloud & Virtualization Management: Deploy and manage infrastructure across cloud and virtualized environments, ensuring availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Implement system hardening, access controls, security best practices, and vulnerability remediation to protect infrastructure and data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, cybersecurity, network, DevOps, and business teams to support infrastructure requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system changes.
Essential Skills
- Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and virtualization technologies.
- Containers & Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system administration.
- Networking: Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
- Security: Understanding of system hardening, vulnerability management, access controls, authentication, and infrastructure security principles.
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and log-management tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
