Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to lead sales performance and showroom operations for a premium Home Décor Retail showroom in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail sales, team management, customer engagement, and store operations within the Home Décor, Furniture, Interior Products, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Building Materials, or related retail sectors.
The Store Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, driving customer satisfaction, managing showroom staff, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Management
- Drive showroom sales, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor store performance, conversion ratios, and customer footfall.
- Guide and coach sales associates to improve customer conversions.
- Develop and execute local customer acquisition initiatives.
- Analyze sales trends and implement corrective actions.
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage showroom staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and productivity assessments.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities.
- Foster a customer-centric and performance-driven culture.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalations effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, interior designers, and contractors.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Store Operations
- Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.
- Maintain visual merchandising and showroom presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with supply chain teams.
- Utilize CRM tools for customer engagement and sales tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety and audit requirements.
Business Development
- Identify local market opportunities to increase sales and footfall.
- Build relationships with architects, designers, builders, and institutional clients.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Generate repeat business and customer referrals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in retail showroom sales and store operations.
- Experience in Home Décor, Furniture, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Building Materials, Interior Products, Consumer Durables, or related industries preferred.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
