The ideal candidate will possess a blend of impeccable butler service skills and robust house management expertise, capable of managing staff, maintaining household standards, and providing exceptional personal service. This role requires utmost discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to anticipating needs and managing complex household logistics.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the household's daily operations, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and service.
- Supervise, train, and manage household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, chauffeurs, and other personnel, fostering a professional and efficient team environment.
- Develop and manage household budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and services.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and special projects.
- Plan, organize, and execute private events, dinner parties, and social gatherings, including menu planning, table setting, and guest service.
- Provide impeccable butler service, including formal table service, beverage service (wine, spirits), and personal valet duties for principals and guests.
- Manage household inventories, including fine china, silverware, linens, and pantry supplies.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including grounds, security systems, and household equipment.
- Handle all administrative tasks related to household management, such as scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Ensure the security and privacy of the principals and the residence at all times.
- Assist with travel arrangements, packing, and unpacking as required.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and cultural sensitivities.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the principals, anticipating their needs and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
