We are seeking Product Manager - Lending to drive the growth and success of our lending products. You will be responsible for optimizing the entire user funnel, increasing conversion rates, and leveraging analytics to improve loan product performance and revenue. This is a key role where your strategic thinking and data-driven approach will directly impact business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
● Work closely with senior leadership in Product, Technology and Business to articulate business needs to actionable product requirements
● Own up the relevant leading product metrics and the lagging PnL, revenue and cost numbers every month for the lending business
● Write detailed product requirement documents, lead product processes (Agile/Scrum) and manage deliverables.
● Obsess with data, define and track key metrics and draw actionable insights using data. Use data to monitor key metrics, identify trends, and inform decisions that enhance user experience and maximize business impact.
● Periodically conduct user-research, industry analysis, competitor mapping and ideate on what to build next
Qualifications:
● 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Software Development, Analytics or similar roles in a B2C product set-up (MBA is not required)
● Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering and/or related field
Skills you will need
● Tech background with a good understanding of technology, data and building products.
● Prior experience of product management, preferably in the Fintech
● Product grasp - capable of taking business metrics, requirements or user problems and breaking them into workable product requirements, and leading the development of identified features
● Excellent communication, written/verbal and problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
Good to Have skills
● Knowledge of any 1 or more of Loan Onboarding, KYC, Customer Verification, Risk Underwriting, Loan Management or Collections.
● Worked in a B2C Startup for more than 2+ years
● Understand KYC and other RBI regulations impacting the financial industry generally
