Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Peenya, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC Turning and CNC Milling machines, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Setup and operate CNC Turning and CNC Milling machines efficiently.
- Material Handling: Safely load raw materials and unload finished components from the machines.
- Technical Reading: Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Offsets & Monitoring: Set machine offsets and continuously monitor machining parameters to ensure accuracy.
- Quality Inspection: Perform regular in-process inspections using measuring tools such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Bore Gauges.
- Production Targets: Meet daily production targets while strictly adhering to company quality standards.
- Maintenance & 5S: Maintain a clean and safe workstation by following standard 5S practices.
- Reporting: Promptly report any machine breakdowns or quality deviations to the supervisor.
- Safety: Follow all factory safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or Machinist trades.
- Experience: 1–3 years in CNC Turning and Milling operations.
- Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
- Metrology: Hands-on experience with standard measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges).
- CNC Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of G-Codes and M-Codes is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Good troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
