Key Responsibilities
- Sanitation: Washing, drying, and storing all dishes, kitchen utensils, and operating dishwashers.
- Surface Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and deep cleaning kitchen floors, countertops, and walls.
- Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and sanitizing appliances such as ovens, refrigerators, and stoves.
- Waste Management: Emptying trash bins, managing recycling, and disposing of waste.
- Organization: Assisting with organizing storage areas and storing food supplies.
- Compliance: Following all safety protocols, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Supplies: Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues to management.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or as a cleaner is often required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift heavy items.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and proper sanitation techniques.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
