Job Title: Legal Officer
Location: RS Puram, Coimbatore

Work Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer to support the organization's legal and compliance functions. The ideal candidate should have experience in contract management, land legal due diligence, statutory compliance, and legal documentation, preferably within the EPC, infrastructure, or renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and EPC-related legal documents.
- Conduct end-to-end land legal due diligence, including verification of Patta, Chitta, Encumbrance Certificate (EC), title deeds, ownership records, and other legal documents.
- Ensure land is legally clear, dispute-free, and compliant prior to acquisition, lease, or project execution.
- Manage legal documentation related to land acquisition, vendor agreements, project contracts, and corporate matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, corporate, and labour laws.
- Prepare and respond to legal notices, coordinate litigation matters, and liaise with external legal counsel.
- Provide legal support to internal departments by identifying legal risks, maintaining documentation, and monitoring compliance activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory; LLM is an added advantage.
- 2–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in EPC, infrastructure, renewable energy, or real estate sectors.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, legal documentation, and land due diligence.
- Good knowledge of corporate law, labour laws, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
