Build responsive, intuitive UI components using React.js, with a strong focus on user experience
Design, develop, and maintain a cross-platform desktop application built with Electron.js
Develop and maintain Node.js backend logic and system-level integrations within the desktop application
Build and deliver new features for an Android mobile application, working comfortably within the Android development ecosystem
Design and manage lightweight local databases using SQLite (or similar in embedded SQL solutions), including schema design, migrations, and query optimization
Collaborate closely with multiple internal teams to analysis feature/story requirements, triage feature requests, and deliver solutions quickly
Context-switch effectively between competing priorities and team needs
Conduct UX reviews and iterate on interface designs based on user feedback
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

3 - 6 years of professional software development experience
2+ years of Android development experience using Android Studio, with the ability to build and ship new app features
Deep experience with React.js — component design, hooks, state management (MobX, Redux, or similar)
Strong proficiency with Electron.js, including main/renderer process architecture and packaging/distribution
Strong working knowledge of Node.js, including building APIs, handling file system operations, and writing clean asynchronous code
Hands-on experience with SQLite or other lightweight embedded databases (e.g., better-sqlite3)
Demonstrated UX/UI design sensibility — ability to produce clean, user-friendly interfaces without relying on a dedicated designer
Comfortable working in an agile, multi-stakeholder environment with shifting priorities
Strong communication skills to translate team requirements into technical solutions quickly
Experience with desktop app packaging tools such as Electron Forge or electron-builder
Capable Java developer — able to read, debug, and write Java APIs to fulfill their own requirements or contribute to shared backend needs across teams
Proficient enough with Oracle SQL to independently write and analyze queries needed to deliver on requirements
