Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker with a strong and active book of business. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the freight brokerage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and grow client relationships while ensuring efficient freight operations.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage and expand an existing book of business 2. Develop new clients and generate additional revenue opportunities 3. Coordinate shipments between shippers and carriers 4. Negotiate competitive rates and ensure profitable deals 5. Track shipments and ensure timely delivery 6. Resolve operational issues related to transportation and logistics 7. Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements: 1. Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Freight Broker 2. Active and transferable book of business is mandatory 3. Strong communication and negotiation skills 4. Good understanding of the US freight market 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment 6. Proficiency in freight management tools and MS Office
