Job Summary
Rapid IT World is looking for a skilled and motivated Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of desktop support, LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, CCTV systems, printers, and system troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Configure and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and access points.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software applications.
- Set up and maintain CCTV, biometric devices, and network-attached devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system security.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
- Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and service records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and warranty support.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Computer Hardware Troubleshooting.
- Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN.
- Router, Switch, and Firewall Configuration.
- Windows Installation and Administration.
- Printer, Scanner, and Peripheral Support.
- CCTV and Biometric Device Installation.
- Basic Server and Data Backup Management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma, BCA, B.Sc. IT, B.Tech, or any relevant IT qualification.
- Hardware & Networking certification (CCNA, N+, MCSE, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
