Job Summary
HASPER Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer to execute and supervise the civil construction activities of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, contractor management, billing, and timely completion of civil works while ensuring compliance with safety and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Project Execution
- Execute civil works for STP, ETP, WTP, and environmental infrastructure projects.
- Study drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction schedules.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping teams.
Site Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities.
- Monitor excavation, RCC, PCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Ensure proper setting out, leveling, alignment, and quality workmanship.
- Monitor manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes and project specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain QA/QC records.
- Coordinate cube testing, slump tests, reinforcement inspections, and concrete quality checks.
- Rectify quality deviations promptly.
Planning & Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Track project milestones and identify delays.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
- Assist in project scheduling using MS Project/Primavera (preferred).
Billing & Documentation
- Verify contractor measurements.
- Prepare RA Bills and client billing documents.
- Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Reports), site registers, and measurement books.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation reports.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks with workers.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe construction practices.
Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, clients, and government authorities.
- Participate in project review meetings.
- Resolve site-related technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in STP/ETP/WTP or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Freshers with strong academic background may be considered for Junior Engineer positions.
