Key Responsibilities:
1.General Administration & Institutional Leadership
Oversee the general administration of the institute, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Provide strategic direction, policy formulation, and institutional planning in coordination with the CAO and Board.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
2.Academic & Teaching Programmes Oversight
Supervise and provide leadership to all academic programmes, ensuring high standards in curriculum delivery, assessment, and academic integrity.
Guide and mentor faculty members in teaching methodologies, research orientation, and professional development.
Organize and monitor faculty workload allocation in alignment with university norms and institutional objectives.
3.Student Welfare, Health & Security
Ensure that students’ welfare, health, and security services are properly managed, responsive, and continuously improved.
Implement policies and mechanisms for students’ health services, counseling, anti-harassment/anti-bullying, and grievance redressal.
4.Student Guidance & Counseling
Provide leadership in developing student guidance and counseling frameworks.
Provide direct oversight or referral of student counseling needs, career guidance, and personal development support.
5.Clinical Postings & External Arrangements
Manage administrative arrangements for students’ clinical experience postings in hospital settings or external institutions.
Liaise with partner hospitals and agencies, ensure agreements and logistical support, and monitor the quality of student placement experiences.
6.Admissions
Supervise student admission processes, ensuring adherence to eligibility criteria, fair selection, and regulatory norms.
Demonstrated ability in administration, supervision, governance, and educational planning.
