About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate
Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) who has hands-on experience in developing and maintaining eCommerce platforms with a full-fledged system architecture. The ideal candidate should be confident working across both frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js + MongoDB), and have a strong understanding of scalable web application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN).
- Build and manage complex eCommerce features including product creation, inventory management, order tracking, and invoicing systems.
- Integrate and maintain third-party/external APIs (payment gateways, shipping APIs, notification systems, etc.).
- Implement technical SEO optimizations across the web and backend — including sitemap.xml generation, structured meta data management, page indexing, and other backend-level SEO improvements to enhance search visibility and site performance.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver clean, efficient solutions.
- Manage AWS deployments — including hosting, server setup, and database management.
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of the application.
- (Optional) Learn and contribute to React Native mobile app development.
- Effectively communicate progress, blockers, and ideas with the team and clients.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining accountability for deliverables and timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Proven experience building and managing end-to-end eCommerce platforms.
- Hands-on experience with API design and integration, handling complex data structures and asynchronous workflows.
- Good understanding of AWS (AppRunner, S3, Amplify, etc.) for hosting and basic server/database management.
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and collaborative development workflows.
- Basic understanding of SEO development best practices.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies or project requirements.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with React Native or willingness to learn it.
- Knowledge of payment gateway integrations (Razorpay).
- Experience with push notifications and invoice management APIs.
- Understanding of Docker or other deployment automation tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
