Job Description – Academic Head
Job Objective
The Academic Head – ACCA is responsible for leading and managing the academic function to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes. The role focuses on developing faculty capabilities, enhancing the overall learning experience, maintaining high academic standards, and implementing strategies that improve student success rates while supporting the organization's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Deliver academic sessions based on subject matter expertise and ensure high-quality teaching standards.
- Observe faculty lectures and evaluate teaching effectiveness by identifying strengths, development areas, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular feedback, mentoring, coaching, and individual or group training sessions to enhance faculty performance.
- Organize faculty development programs, workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing events with internal and external experts.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and improve curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, teaching methodologies, and classroom management practices.
- Define and monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual academic goals for faculty and students, ensuring timely achievement through continuous guidance and performance reviews.
- Conduct regular student review meetings to evaluate academic progress, learning outcomes, and overall satisfaction.
- Supervise classroom activities, maintain observation reports, and present academic performance updates and recommendations to management.
- Design and implement innovative learning strategies to enhance the overall student learning experience.
- Develop and execute academic plans to improve student pass percentages and achieve Platinum ALP status.
- Build a collaborative academic culture by encouraging faculty members to share best practices, teaching resources, and subject knowledge.
- Leverage ACCA learning resources and global content to strengthen faculty capability and ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify industry best practices and continuously improve teaching methodologies, academic services, and student engagement.
- Plan, develop, and manage Learning Management System (LMS) content to maximize technology adoption, improve learning accessibility, and enhance student satisfaction.
- Monitor academic performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective action plans to ensure continuous academic excellence.
- Work closely with senior management to drive academic quality, operational efficiency, and institutional growth through strategic academic initiatives.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per hour
