We are looking for an experienced Production Merchandiser / Production & Quality Coordinator based in Jaipur to oversee fabric sourcing coordination, garment production, quality control, and vendor management for our manufacturing operations.
#Key Responsibilities
#Production Coordination
* Coordinate with fabric suppliers, garment manufacturers, embroidery units, and finishing vendors.
* Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time completion of orders.
* Track daily production status and provide regular updates to management.
* Follow up on sampling, approvals, cutting, stitching, finishing, and dispatch activities.
#Fabric&InventoryManagement
* Verify receipt of fabrics from suppliers.
* Maintain accurate records of fabric consumption, balance stock, and wastage.
* Monitor cutting efficiency and ensure optimum utilization of fabric.
* Reconcile fabric received versus garments produced.
#QualityAssurance
* Conduct inline and final quality inspections.
* Check measurements, stitching quality, finishing standards, and garment appearance.
* Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure all products meet brand quality standards before dispatch.
#VendorManagement
* Build strong relationships with manufacturing partners and vendors.
* Coordinate production schedules and resolve operational challenges.
* Ensure compliance with agreed quality standards and delivery timelines.
### Reporting
* Share production reports, QC reports, photographs, and updates with management.
* Maintain records of production quantities, rejections, alterations, and dispatches.
* Highlight potential risks and delays proactively.
## Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing, export houses, buying houses, or garment production environments.
* Prior experience as a Production Merchandiser, Production Coordinator, Quality Executive, Industrial Merchandiser, or similar role.
* Strong understanding of garment production processes from fabric receipt to final dispatch.
* Knowledge of fabric consumption, marker efficiency, garment measurements, and quality standards.
* Experience working with apparel manufacturers and production units.
* Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
* Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Degree or Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Merchandising, Textile Technology, or related field.
* Experience with women's western wear, Indo-western apparel, premium boutique brands, or export-oriented manufacturing.
* Familiarity with production planning, fabric consumption analysis, and quality inspection processes.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
