Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations, maintaining service standards, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and grooming standards.
- Support staff training and development.
- Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and wastage.
- Assist with cash handling, billing, and daily reports.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and food safety standards.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales and operational targets.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in restaurant/hospitality operations.
- Previous experience as a Captain, Supervisor, or Assistant Restaurant Manager preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations and guest service.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage a team effectively.
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hotel Management / Hospitality qualification preferred.
