Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising workers, ensuring work is completed as per drawings and schedules, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Manage and monitor site workers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure productivity of manpower
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available on site
- Monitor progress and report daily work status to Site Engineer / Project Manager
- Maintain site discipline, safety, and cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, company policies, and statutory regulations
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients for timely delivery of materials and smooth site operations
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and construction challenges
- Maintain basic site records such as attendance, material usage, and work progress
- Assist engineers in inspections, measurements, and quality checks
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards
- Ability to read and understand drawings and site plans
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Basic knowledge of site documentation and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work on-site for extended hours if required
