We are looking for a Linux System Administrator with basic experience in server administration, website/domain/email migration, virtualization, networking, and security infrastructure support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in migrating websites, domains, databases, and email accounts across Linux/Windows servers.
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
- Manage users, permissions, services, backups, and system performance.
- Support virtualization platforms including Proxmox VE, KVM, VMware, and VirtualBox.
- Create, migrate, backup, and restore VMs and LXC containers.
- Assist with Proxmox cluster, storage, snapshots, and HA configurations.
- Support OPNsense firewall setup, rules, NAT, VPN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot network, server, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Manage, configure, and maintain IP-based CCTV systems, network infrastructure, and physical security storage solutions.
- Assist with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud) and basic security practices.
- Maintain documentation and support infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage virtualization platforms including Proxmox VE , KVM, VMware, and VirtualBox.
- Create, manage, migrate, back up, and restore virtual machines (VMs) and Linux containers (LXC) in Proxmox environments.
- Configure and maintain Proxmox clusters, shared storage, snapshots, high availability (HA), and backup solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain OPNsense firewalls, including firewall rules, NAT, VPNs (OpenVPN/IPsec/WireGuard), VLANs, DHCP, DNS, IDS/IPS, and network security policies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, firewall performance, VPN tunnels, and internet connectivity using OPNsense.
- Perform firmware upgrades, backup and restore OPNsense configurations, and maintain high availability where applicable.
Requirements:
- 6 months – 1 year of experience in Linux administration.
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Basic knowledge of virtualization and firewall technologies.
- Familiarity with server migrations, hosting environments, and CCTV/network security systems.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in system administration.
