About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and organised Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our factory stores, including receiving, storing, issuing and maintaining accurate records of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables and finished goods.
The candidate should have good knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation and warehouse practices, preferably in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials, packaging materials, consumables and other materials at the factory.
- Check incoming materials against Purchase Orders, invoices and delivery documents.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs and material receipt records.
- Properly label, store and organise materials in designated locations.
- Issue materials to the production department against authorised material requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Purchase/Management team about low-stock and reorder requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences between physical and system stock.
- Maintain records of material receipts, issues, returns, transfers and rejected/damaged materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality and Accounts for smooth movement and documentation of materials.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and housekeeping within the stores area.
- Maintain proper segregation and identification of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and rejected materials.
- Ensure that materials are stored safely and protected from damage, contamination, moisture and pests.
- Maintain documentation required for internal, customer and food-safety audits.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain records of stock movement using ERP/Tally/Excel or other inventory software.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12th pass / Graduate; B.Com/BBA or equivalent preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in stores/warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG, food processing or manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Tally.
- Experience in maintaining GRNs, stock registers and material issue records.
- Good numerical and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production and other departments.
- Should be physically comfortable working in a factory/warehouse environment.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
