We are looking for a Transport Executive to manage the movement and delivery of goods in a timely and cost-effective manner. The person will work closely with warehouses, drivers, and clients to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the transportation and delivery of goods.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with warehouses, drivers, and clients to maintain a smooth supply chain.
- Plan and monitor vehicle schedules and routes.
- Hire and onboard truck drivers as needed.
- Maintain a steady availability of drivers for operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Track maintenance and repair requirements for trucks and other vehicles.
- Coordinate servicing, repairs, and replacement of vehicle parts when necessary.
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, driver documents, and transportation activities.
- Address transportation issues and resolve delivery-related problems quickly.
Requirements:
- Experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management, or a related field.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage drivers, vehicles, and daily transportation operations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
