Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Officer to drive sales of our Restaurant Billing Software and Restaurant Payroll App. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential restaurant clients, generating leads, conducting product demonstrations, closing sales, and maintaining long-term customer relationships within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new restaurant customers including cafés, quick service restaurants (QSRs), fine dining restaurants, cloud kitchens, bakeries, and food chains.
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals, cold calling, networking, and digital inquiries.
- Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations of the Restaurant Billing Software and Restaurant Payroll App.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with the implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding of customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, managers, and decision-makers.
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend trade exhibitions, food industry events, and promotional activities to generate business opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments as per company policies.
- Provide post-sales support and encourage customer renewals, upgrades, and referrals.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration abilities.
- Ability to understand software products and explain technical features in simple business terms.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
- Good relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in SaaS, POS software, ERP, payroll software, hospitality technology, or IT solutions.
- Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales may also apply.
