Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer & Manufacturing Analyst who can bridge engineering and manufacturing operations. The role involves developing manufacturing processes, optimizing production costs, analyzing manufacturing data, coordinating with vendors, and supporting new product development (NPD) from concept to production.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about Industry 4.0, manufacturing analytics, automation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Engineering
- Develop manufacturing plans for new products from prototype to mass production.
- Prepare manufacturing process sheets, SOPs, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
- Design production workflows for CNC machining, fabrication, sheet metal, casting, injection moulding, and assembly.
- Coordinate with design engineers to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Identify tooling, fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing requirements.
- Support vendor development, supplier qualification, and production transfer activities.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, cycle times, and production lead times.
- Participate in prototype builds and production validation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost. Manufacturing engineers are commonly responsible for improving processes, tooling, layouts, and production efficiency. (Caterpillar Careers)
Manufacturing Analytics
- Analyze production, quality, and supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Track KPIs including:
- Production efficiency
- OEE
- Machine utilization
- Rejection rate
- Cycle time
- Vendor performance
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Cost per part
- Perform root cause analysis using manufacturing data.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions based on analytical findings.
- Support digital manufacturing initiatives through ERP, MES, IoT, or data integration where applicable. Manufacturing analysts increasingly use production data, dashboards, and visualization tools to identify trends and improve operations. (Frontlines Media)
Project Management
- Support multiple customer projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, production, and suppliers.
- Monitor project timelines and manufacturing milestones.
- Prepare technical and management reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, industrial engineering, or process engineering.

Education: Diploma/ B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Mechatronics or equivalent.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
