Job Summary
Global Indian International School is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Basketball Coach with a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) qualification. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coaching students, promoting physical fitness, and developing basketball skills while supporting the school's overall sports and physical education programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct basketball coaching sessions for students across different age groups.
- Train students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level tournaments.
- Organize sports activities, competitions, and practice sessions.
- Assess students' performance and encourage skill development and teamwork.
- Support Physical Education classes and promote health, fitness, and sportsmanship.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during sports activities.
- Assist in school sports events and other co-curricular activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in basketball coaching and physical education in a school environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, coaching, and student engagement skills.
- Certification in basketball coaching will be an added advantage.
