About the Role
BharatCares is seeking a motivated and execution-focused professional to support the implementation and management of CSR-funded skilling and employability programs in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. The Senior Associate will play an important role in coordinating technical skilling initiatives, monitoring program performance, engaging stakeholders, and supporting placement-linked outcomes that contribute to sustainable livelihoods and India's growing green economy.
The ideal candidate should have experience in skill development, vocational training, workforce development, and project coordination, with exposure to technical trades and employability-focused programs.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Coordination
- Support the planning and implementation of CSR-funded skilling and livelihood projects.
- Coordinate with training partners, field teams, and implementation agencies to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project activities against work plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support project reviews and ensure effective coordination among stakeholders.
Technical Skilling & Employability Programs
- Assist in managing technical and vocational training programs across trades such as:
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) Technician
- HVAC Technician
- Multi-Skill Technician (Electrical)
- Assistant Electrician
- Solar Panel Installation Technician
- Other industry-relevant technical and green skilling trades
- Track training quality, learner progress, certification, and assessment outcomes.
- Support the implementation of industry-aligned and market-linked skilling interventions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with corporates, CSR partners, training institutions, Sector Skill Councils, government departments, and industry stakeholders.
- Support employer engagement initiatives for placements, apprenticeships, and workforce integration.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, field visits, and project review discussions.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track program indicators including mobilization, enrollment, attendance, certification, placements, and retention.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation quality and beneficiary engagement.
- Support preparation of project reports, presentations, impact stories, case studies, and donor updates.
- Maintain project MIS, documentation, and data records accurately.
Placement & Industry Linkages
- Assist in developing employer partnerships for trainee placements.
- Coordinate placement drives, job fairs, career guidance sessions, and industry interactions.
- Monitor placement outcomes and post-placement engagement.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to donor guidelines, project requirements, and organizational processes.
- Support audits, monitoring visits, assessments, and documentation reviews.
- Maintain project records and compliance-related documentation.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with trainers, mobilizers, project coordinators, and partner organizations.
- Provide operational support to field teams to ensure effective implementation.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Social Work, Rural Management, Development Studies, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Skill Development, Employability, Livelihoods, Workforce Development, CSR Programs, or related sectors.
- Experience in coordinating technical and vocational skilling programs.
- Exposure to CSR-funded, government-funded, or industry-supported skilling initiatives.
- Understanding of skill development ecosystems, employability frameworks, and industry engagement practices.
- Experience supporting placement and employer engagement activities will be an advantage.
