We are seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where young children can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. The teacher will plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities that foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the preschool curriculum.
- Create a safe, positive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Conduct interactive learning activities, storytelling, rhymes, music, dance, art, and craft sessions.
- Encourage children's cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and language development.
- Observe, assess, and record each child's progress and developmental milestones.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, learning materials, and classroom displays.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and overall development.
- Organize celebrations, events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of children at all times.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and school events.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school management.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Follow all school policies, child protection guidelines, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Any Degree
- Freshers with a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a preschool, kindergarten, or primary school is an added advantage.
- Certification in Montessori or Early Childhood Education is preferred.
