Job description
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level and second-level support for hardware, software, network, printer, and SAP-related issues.
- Respond to user inquiries and service requests through tickets, calls, emails, and in-person support.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, operating system, application, and peripheral device issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal teams or external vendors when required.
Hardware & Software Management
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Deploy and configure operating systems, business applications, antivirus software, and security patches.
- Perform regular software updates, hardware upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT hardware assets and software licenses, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
User Onboarding & Training
- Set up workstations, user accounts, email access, and required software for new employees.
- Conduct user training sessions and develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials for IT systems and applications.
- Assist employees in the effective use of technology resources and business applications.
System Monitoring & Administration
- Monitor daily performance of computer systems, servers, and network-connected devices.
- Review system alerts, logs, and notifications, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure optimal performance and availability of IT infrastructure and end-user computing devices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of incidents, service requests, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.
- Document IT procedures, asset movements, system configurations, and support activities.
- Generate periodic reports on asset inventory, software licensing, support tickets, and system performance.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with hardware, software, ISP, and service vendors for issue resolution and warranty support.
- Track vendor service requests and ensure timely closure of support cases.
- Assist in procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment and software solutions.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, security standards, and software licensing requirements.
- Support endpoint security initiatives, including antivirus management, patch management, and access control.
- Assist in data backup verification and business continuity activities.
Required Technical /Functional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with desktop/laptop troubleshooting and hardware support.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with SAP user support and troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT asset management and software license tracking.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
