Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reporting To: Restaurant Manager
Role Summary:
We are looking for a high-energy, "on-the-move" leader to drive our floor and beverage operations. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you are the engine of the shift - someone who stays active, motivates the staff through constant presence, and ensures every guest experience is seamless. While this is a floor management role, a strong background in bar service and alcohol handling is mandatory to ensure our beverage standards and licensing compliance remain impeccable.
Key Responsibilities:
Active Floor Leadership: Lead by example with a proactive, high-energy approach. You are expected to be physically present and active on the floor during peak hours, providing "on-the-job" encouragement to the team.
-
Actively encourage and inspire staff to take ownership of their sections. We want a manager who builds morale through positive reinforcement and high-paced energy.
-
Use your excellent communication skills to converse naturally with guests, handling complaints with finesse and presenting the brand with professional confidence.
-
Coordinate pre-opening and post-closing routines, manage inventory (COGS), and ensure 100% adherence to liquor licensing and food safety policies.
Requirements:
-
Minimum 1-2 years in a similar leadership role (Assistant Manager or Senior Captain) in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
-
Proven experience in a bar. You must be comfortable discussing wines, spirits, and cocktails with guests and supervising bar staff.
-
Very good English skills are a must. You should be able to understand guest preferences easily and speak clearly to both customers and your team.
-
Highly energetic, proactive, and physically active. We are looking for someone who "leads from the front" rather than from an office.
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
