We are expanding our team in India! We are looking for a high-caliber Technical Sales Engineer to drive the market for cutting-edge Nanoscale Analytics portfolio, including world-leading s-SNOM and nano-FTIR systems and NMR magnet systems.
Understanding of Cryogenic and Low-Temperature Measurement Systems, Superconducting Magnet Systems, NMR Spectroscopy is desirable.
Educational Qualification:
M. Tech /M. Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or Optical Engineering with an exceptionally strong background in instrumentation.
Languages: English, Hindi & Local language
Roles and Responsibility:
- Drive technical B2B sales and business development for high-end optical and AFM-based nanoscopy systems across premium academic institutes (IITs, IISc, NITs) and R&D centers in India.
- Engage in deep technical consultations with materials scientists, physicists, and nanotechnologists.
- Manage the complex sales cycle from technical presentations and grant/tender alignment to final negotiation.
- Pre-installation, Installation and Sales after support for all the instruments
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Plans an effective sales targeting approach to the assigned sales territory.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of proven success selling high-end analytical instruments (AFM, FTIR, Raman, or Electron Microscopes) in India.
- Strong understanding of tender processes (GeM, institutional bidding) and a solid network within India's premier scientific community.
- Should be able to travel across the designated territory, initiate tasks independently, and plan proactively.
