About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President – Sales & Marketing to lead our sales and business development initiatives for a leading pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Pharmaceutical Machinery Sales, Pharma Tooling Sales, Capital Equipment Sales, or Business Development within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding domestic and international markets, developing strategic customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team while strengthening the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across domestic and international pharmaceutical markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), and key industry stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for high-value capital equipment sales and long-term business partnerships.
- Drive business development initiatives through direct customer engagement, channel partners, distributors, and strategic alliances.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, pricing strategies, and market expansion plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and Application teams to deliver customized customer solutions.
- Represent the company at pharmaceutical exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and after-sales coordination.
- Provide regular business performance reports, sales analytics, and strategic recommendations to the senior leadership.
Desired Qualification
- BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 15–20+ years of progressive experience in Pharmaceutical Machinery Sales, Pharma Tooling Sales, Capital Equipment Sales, or Business Development.
- Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales targets and managing large-scale business operations.
- Experience handling key accounts within the Pharmaceutical, API, Formulation, Injectable, or Packaging sectors.
- Exposure to domestic and international markets will be highly preferred.

- Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas as required.
