We’re Hiring | IT Support | Technology Professional (Mid-Level)
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s / Diploma / Master’s Degree in IT or a related field
Aikyam Capital Group is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support / Technology Professional to manage and support our IT infrastructure and security environment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth system operations, maintain security standards, and provide reliable technical support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities;
- Support the administration and maintenance of IT systems including servers, databases, and networks
- Manage and monitor network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, access points) to ensure high uptime and performance
- Configure and manage Sophos Firewall, security policies, antivirus, and other security tools
- Implement and monitor IT security measures, patch management, and system updates
- Maintain proper documentation of patch updates, system changes, and system configurations
- Perform routine system backups and recovery checks
- Provide end-user support for applications, operating systems, and connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions (Active Directory, email systems, etc.)
- Maintain IT asset inventory and regularly review system performance and security
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection standards, and audit requirements
- Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or network administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, and Group Policies
- Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi configuration
- Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure, AWS, Office 365)
- Good understanding of cybersecurity tools and best practices
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP
Candidate Preference
- Prior experience in a Broking & Clearing firm
- Knowledge of BOD / EOD processes will be a strong advantage
