ROLE OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of this role is to ensure smooth coordination between confirmed orders, production planning, assembly teams, inventory availability, and external vendors to achieve timely manufacturing and order fulfilment.
The candidate will act as the central operational coordinator between:
- Sales-confirmed orders
- Inventory requirements
- Manufacturing teams
- External production vendors
- Assembly coordination
- Finished Goods inward planning
This role is not limited to supervising production but is expected to gradually help establish:
- Structured production planning
- System-based workflow coordination
- Process discipline
- Manufacturing visibility
- Accountability tracking
CURRENT OPERATIONAL CHALLENGES (IMPORTANT FOR UNDERSTANDING ROLE)
Currently, the organisation operates in a highly dynamic environment where:
- Production requests are largely coordinated manually
- Multiple order channels create fluctuating fulfilment pressure
- Manufacturing coordination depends heavily on follow-ups
- External vendors require constant monitoring
- Production timelines are not centrally tracked
- Inventory availability and production planning are not fully integrated
Thus, the candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment and should be capable of bringing structure, follow-up discipline, and execution control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProduction Coordination
- Coordinate production requirement against confirmed orders
- Align assembly schedules with fulfilment timelines
- Monitor production status daily
Manufacturing Planning
- Coordinate with Ravi Bhai, Papubhai, Ajith, and external vendors
- Ensure timely manufacturing execution
- Follow up on pending assembly and manufacturing quantities
Order Fulfilment Support
- Coordinate with Finished Goods Inventory team
- Track stock shortages
- Trigger production requirement wherever stock is unavailable
Vendor Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with external production vendors
- Monitor committed timelines
- Escalate delays proactively
Inventory & FG Coordination
- Ensure manufactured products are inwarded into FG Inventory on time
- Coordinate production completion with inventory movement
Process & System Development
- Assist in implementing structured production tracking systems
- Maintain production status reports and MIS
- Participate in process standardisation initiatives
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong coordination and follow-up capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Good communication and team handling skills
- Understanding of manufacturing / assembly environment
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reporting, coordination sheets)
- Operational discipline and execution-oriented mindset
