Key Responsibilities Drawings Preparation: Create precise working drawings, detailed layouts, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and municipal/approval drawings for residential or commercial projects. Design Assistance: Support senior architects and design teams by converting basic concepts into functional execution plans. Compliance Checks: Ensure all designs follow local building codes, municipal rules, and development control regulations (DCR). Project Coordination: Work with site engineers, contractors, and other consultants to make sure drawings match the real-world building needs. Record Management: Keep all project drawing files, revisions, and documentation updated and organized. Key Requirements & Skills Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD 3D. Education: A Diploma or ITI in Draftsmanship, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: Ranging from 1 to 5 years Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate measurements and error-free structural representations.
