Job Overview
Zaoq is looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Steward to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of kitchen hygiene, cleaning procedures, utensil handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a restaurant environment.
The role involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness, assisting chefs, managing washing areas, ensuring proper sanitation, and supporting smooth kitchen workflow.

Key Responsibilities
● Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area
● Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and crockery
● Ensure proper cleaning of workstations before and after operations
● Support chefs and kitchen staff during daily operations
● Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, storage areas, and washing areas
● Follow food safety and hygiene standards
● Proper handling and storage of cleaning materials
● Assist in garbage disposal and waste management procedures
● Ensure availability of clean utensils and kitchen equipment during service hours
● Maintain discipline and follow kitchen safety procedures
● Support smooth coordination between kitchen team members

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Knowledge
● 1–2 years of experience as a Kitchen Steward/Utility Staff in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setup
● Knowledge of kitchen cleaning and hygiene practices
● Basic understanding of food safety standards
● Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Soft Skills
