Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Networking Support Engineer with a CCNA Certification. The role focuses on managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure connectivity across the organization.
You will be responsible for LAN/WAN management, network device configuration, and resolving network-related issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for network-related issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, routing, switching, and wireless access points
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, modems, and other networking devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, latency issues, and connectivity problems
- Monitor network performance and implement measures to enhance stability and speed
- Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN configurations
- Ensure network security through firewall rules, access control, and regular monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of the network architecture, assets, and configurations
- Coordinate with ISPs and technology vendors for issue resolution and upgrades
- Provide remote and onsite networking support as required
- Support system administration tasks when needed (basic hardware/software troubleshooting)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CCNA Certification (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, NAT, and Routing Protocols
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and basic system administration
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and IT service management systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field
- Prior experience in network support, NOC, or system administration
