Key Responsibilities Sales
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively seek out new clients, including homeowners, interior designers, architects, and real estate developers.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site consultations to understand client needs and recommend customized smart home solutions (lighting, climate control, security, audio/video, etc.).
- Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle—from initial contact and system design to proposal presentation and contract closing.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with contractors and industry influencers to generate referral business.
Marketing
- Content & Social Media: Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and our website that highlights the benefits and "cool factor" of home automation.
- Local Networking: Represent the company at trade shows, home improvement expos, and community events to build brand visibility.
- Campaign Management: Assist in launching targeted marketing campaigns to promote new products or seasonal promotions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor local market trends and competitor offerings to ensure our sales strategy remains sharp and competitive.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in sales, preferably in consumer electronics, real estate, or high-end residential interior services.
- Technical Literacy: A strong passion for technology. You don't need to be an engineer, but you must be able to explain how devices (like smart locks, voice assistants, and automation hubs) work and integrate.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be able to translate complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand lifestyle benefits for clients.
- Drive: A "hunter" mentality with the ability to work independently and meet ambitious sales targets.
- Presentation Skills: Professional demeanor with experience conducting high-stakes product demonstrations or presentations.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
