Job Description
We are looking for a Facade Material Estimation & Quantity Calculation Executive who can read architectural and facade drawings and prepare accurate material quantities, BOQs, and estimation sheets.
Experience: 1-3 Years Preferred (Capable Freshers May Also Apply)
Industry: Facade / Construction / Aluminium / Glazing
Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand architectural, structural, and facade drawings.
- Calculate quantities of aluminium profiles, glass, ACP, MS sections, brackets, cleats, fasteners, sealants, and other accessories.
- Prepare floor-wise and elevation-wise quantity take-offs.
- Prepare BOQs, cutting lists, and material requirement sheets.
- Calculate running metres, square metres, weights, and quantities of individual components.
- Estimate material wastage and stock-length utilisation.
- Prepare system-wise cost estimates and rate analysis.
- Compare drawing quantities with site measurements.
- Coordinate with design, purchase, production, and site teams.
- Update quantities whenever drawings are revised.
- Maintain organised Excel sheets and estimation records.
Required Skills
- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Good numerical and calculation skills.
- Understanding of BOQ preparation and material take-off.
- Knowledge of aluminium glazing, ACP cladding, glass, MS structures, or facade systems will be preferred.
- Accuracy, patience, and strong attention to detail.
- Candidates from Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Diploma, or ITI backgrounds may apply.
Preferred Candidate
Someone with practical knowledge of facade materials who can independently extract accurate quantities from drawings.
